Afrorama Launches #AfricaJobsBoard on LinkedIn

Afrorama is pleased to announce the launch of its latest initiative, the #AfricaJobsBoard. The job board is designed to connect job seekers with opportunities based or related to the African continent, filling in a gap observed by Afrorama's founder, Chloé Bertrand.

Bertrand noticed a movement on LinkedIn during the COVID-19 lockdowns of "job fairies" who would collate jobs and create job boards related to social impact. However, she observed that there were very few opportunities related to the African continent, and thus decided to create the #AfricaJobsBoard on Afrorama's LinkedIn Page.

Afrorama's aim is to change the way we think about the continent. One way of doing this is to encourage Africans and non-Africans to apply for jobs or opportunities on the continent. The #AfricaJobsBoard is free to use and is open to job seekers and employers alike. Job seekers can find 20+ job opportunities posted every Wednesday on the board and apply directly to the employer, while employers can post job opportunities based or related to the African continent.
