Anne-Sharlene Murapa

Anne-Sharlene Murapa was born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, to parents of Shona, Ndebele and Sotho heritage. From a young age, Anne-Sharlene developped a curiosity about identity and culture and what that meant for people with seemingly ‘complex’ backgrounds. Passionate about holistic wellness, Anne-Sharlene is currently building a community that supports the healing, pleasure and joy of African women through Kurapa Moyo (kurapamoyo.com). Her interests include reading Africanfuturistic literature and learning to play the Mbira. She hopes to someday travel the continent, in search of indigenous knowledge and practices.
