Annette Kimani
My name is Annette Wanjiku Kimani. I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. I come from the Bantu tribe Agikuyu, the largest ethnic group in Kenya. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and gender studies. I have experience in the healthcare and social impact sector, working in administration and communications. My most notable accomplishments were leading digital communication strategies that led to a huge growth spurt in the communities I managed. I'm extremely passionate about social impact and being the change I wish to see. I believe young people are pivotal for sustainable development and I want to be a part of it. In particular, I'm passionate about the following SDGs: Quality Education, Gender Equality and Good Health and Wellbeing.
