Jessica Nitiema

Jessica Nitiema is a financial inclusion professional working to scale and formalize digital remittances in Africa. Originally from Burkina Faso, she grew up in South Africa but went to a French school. The knowledge she absorbed came at a price and when she moved to London, exposure to different schools of thought (decoloniality being her favorite) pushed her to deconstruct the learnings from her educational background. Her interest in 'inclusion' is present in her professional and personal aspirations as she strived to put forward African narratives, histories, and philosophies.
